Free and Clear  is back in action this spring and going strong. 

 

"Flynn" started the eventing season at Paradise Farm in February with a Training level warm up and moved to Preliminary.  After solid finishing next  5 outings he took on the challenge of his first Three Day CCI1* at the Virginia Three-day Event & H.T. May 21, winning handily and finishing on his dressage score.

 

The 8 year old gelding by Mountain Pearl was bred by Pairadox Farm out of the Thoroughbred mare Rare One.  "Flynn" is owned by Colleen Hofstetter and is being ridden this year by Rebekah SImmons, both of Pennsylvania.  Congratulation to all!

Bridon Beale Street has moved up to preliminary level in his eventing career.  Apparently he LOVED the galloping and brought home second place.

 

The 8 year old RID stallion is by Mountain Pearl out of Graceland Pride RID.  "Liam" is owned by Connie Arthur and Shirley Kahlert.  Congratulations!
4/25/2010  Yesterday wed delivered 2-year-old Padi's Granite Partner (Kieran) to meet his new owners, Marcia and Tom Turner of Michigan.  We met the Turners at a half way point in Indiana.  After the 4+ hour drive to the meeting place, and a good leg stretching,  Kieran looked their trailer over, detected there was grain inside, and happily re-loaded for the second half of the journey.  Marcia reported last night that he was settling right in , having quickly figured out the automatic waterer in his stall and the luscious deep bedding.  The Turners already own Kieran's full brother Liam ( Padi's Granite Summit) who is reported to be most curious about this new addition to his barn.
