We imported Loguestown Classic as a yearling from Port Rush, Northern Ireland. Bred by Ivan and Judith Adams of Loguestown Irish Draughts, Alanna has been everything we hoped for and more.
In 2000 she was inspected and approved with the very high overall score of 142, reported to be the highest awarded in North America at that time.
She proved to be easy to breed and foal out, producing 6 purebred Irish Draught foals to date. She is an exceptional mother to not only her foals, but the other mare's foals as well. She has become the herd babysitter and it is not unusual to see her with 3 or 4 foals and no other mares in sight.
